Paul W. Emery II,  Partner TechCFO

Paul W. Emery, II brings extensive leadership expertise in roles as CFO, COO and CEO with hardware, software, media, and services enterprises ranging from start-ups, early stage businesses and public companies.  Most recently, Paul held the position of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Brilliant Telecommunications, a provider of timing and synchronization solutions for the telecommunications industry.  Mr. Emery’s experience includes managing high-growth businesses, numerous public and private financings, turnarounds and restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, financial planning, implementing business processes and management controls and international expansion.  Previously, Mr. Emery served in executive leadership roles at MTI Corporation, Digital Generation Systems, Borland, Megatest/Teradyne Corporation, SCO, and System Industries.  Paul began his career in finance at Ford Motor Company and IBM where he was responsible for the business planning and pricing of all of IBM's computer peripherals products and services.  Mr. Emery holds an MBA from the University of Maryland, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
